went for a jog

Tag 67 / Day 67

ich war gestern mit dani meiner mitbewohnerin joggen (1h wohl knapp 7km) und heute merk ich muskeln, von denen ich nicht mal wußte, daß sie überhaupt existieren *hahaha*
ich mein in den beinen ist es mir ja egal, weil erwünscht, aber ich hab genau auf höhe hintern an den seiten muskelkater ?!?!?!
wie dem auch sei, trotz allem konnte ich mich heut sehr gut bewegen und bin nicht, wie gestern abend erwartet, an der schwelle zum bus hängen geblieben :D

dann gibt´s da noch ne sache, bei der ich wohl zu schnell war mit meinem mundwerk. aber zur erklärung: im bistro, der cafeteria am hönggerberg, gibt es so 150ml oder 200ml kleine eisbecherchen in 10 verschiedenen sorten :D und aus voler bruste hab ich gesagt, ich werd jede sorte kosten und abschließend beurteilen welche die beste ist! dummerweise hab ich mir zu diesem zeitpunkt leider nicht genau alle sorten angesehen und wurde dann "dezent" darauf hingewiesen, daß doch das Maple Walnut wohl das beste von allen sein wird. wer mich kennt wird genau jetzt anfangen köstlich zu lachen bzw. ebenso wie ich das gesicht verziehen denn ich hasse nusseis, ich kann es einfach nicht essen AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
natürlich kam dann gleich: "du hast doch grad gesagt, alle sorten! wir bezahlen dir sogar das nusseis." (zitat H.-M. Zogg)
und jetzt????

yesterday i went for a jog with my roommate dani (1h near 7km) and today i can feel muscles i never thought they exist *hahaha*
i don´t mean the ones in my legs but i feel "pain" in the outsides of my butt ?!?!?!
anyway, i went to work today without any problem. yesterday i thought: could be possible that you can´t enter the bus! :D

there´s one more thing, maybe i was to fast with my mouth. here´s the reason: in bistro, the cafeteria at Hönggerberg, they´ve 150ml or 200ml smal boxes with ice cream with 10 different flavours :D and what did i said? right, i´ll try everyone to find out which is the best! stupidly i haven´t watched all of them and so my colleagues told me that Maple Walnut should be the best one. those who know me will start laughing now or get the same strange facial expression because i hate nut ice cream, i can´t eat it AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
of course, what else could my colleagues told me: "you´ve said every flavour! we´ll pay the Maple Walnut." (by H.-M. Zogg)

ok, ich hab es geschafft meinen ersten döner in der schweiz zu essen. mit 8,-CHF auch ganz schön teuer und nicht vergleich bar mit dem deutschen. der geschmack ist ganz anders, aber seht selbst warum ;)

ok, i got my first kebap here in switzerland. payed 8,-CHF it´s expansive instead of 3,-EURO in germany. it tasted very different because in germany there´s other bread and dressing

es ist unglaublich, aber heut hab ich ihn gesehen. sein name ist Schnee, der Schnee ;)
es hat innert (wie der schweizer sagt) weniger stunden 25cm neuschnee gegeben und den ganzen tag eigentlich auch nicht mehr aufgehört. resultat der nacht war, ich bin heut zu meinem arbeitsplatz gelaufen, da kein bus mehr fuhr. und teilweise mußte ich dabei wirklich durch den tiefschnee watscheln, da nicht geräumt war. gedauert hat mein marsch 1 stunde, was rückblickend eigentlich doch recht fix für die strecke und die witterung war. dafür sah ich aus wie ein schneemann als ich an kam. der schnee liegt immernoch, obwohl es teilweise zu tauen scheint. es fällt jedoch wie gesagt auch immer noch etwas vom himmel und nun wird es ja wieder kälter und es gibt glatteiswarnung, na mal sehen ;)

it´s unbelievable, but today i saw him. his name is Snow, the Snow ;)
in just view houres we got 25cm new snow and it snowed all day long till now with just a really short break. the result of the night was, i had to walk to work because no bus was driving anymore. it tooks 1 houre to arrive there but when i look back it was really quick for the long way and the weather here, but i looked like a snowman as i arrived there. the snow is still there and also it´s still snowing and now it´s getting colder again. in the radio they say there will be ice at the roads, we´ll see ;)

da ist er doch noch mal, der von mir geliebte schnee :) ob er liegen bleibt ist eine andere frage, aber es sind temperaturen zwischen 5°C am tag und -2°C in der nacht angekündigt, es könnte also durchaus dazu kommen ;)

ich war also gestern auf dem automobilsalon in genf, die photos folgen nun ;)
abends hab ich dann noch den iren bei ihrer nationalfeiertagsparty "geholfen" :) auch da hab ich bilder gemacht, siehe oben (leider schlechte qualität)

die welt spricht VISA, ich auch!!!! :)
hab heute meine VISA-karte erhalten und gleich den ersten einkauf getätigt. ein zugticket für morgen, und zwar zum automobilsalon nach genf :) ihr merkt also, ich werd morgen abend (spätestens sonntag) dann sicherlich ein ganz paar fotos online stellen, denn diese schnuckligen vierrädrigen freudenbringen kann man ja nicht einfach so an sich vorbeiziehen lassen ;)
also morgen dann mehr ;)

today i got my VISA-card and bought my first thing with it. a rail ticket for tomorrow to geneva´s 77th international motor show :) so you can see, i´ll put some pictures online tomorrow evening or latest at sunday because i can´t miss these nice "toys" ;)

spring

Tag 60 / Day 60

es ist frühling! zumindest liest und hört man es überall ;)
ich muß allerdings sagen, heute konnte ich es beim messen auf dem institutsdach wirklich bestätigen und konnte es mir nicht nehmen, mich wenigstens für 5 minuten einfach mal dort auf die bank zu setzen und die wärmende sonne etwas genießen :D
das messen an sich hat leider nicht so richtig geklappt wie es sollte, probleme werde ich dann wohl morgen versuchen zu beheben.

it´s spring! well, you can read and hear it everywhere ;)
but i´ve to say, it´s true. today i felt it at the roof of the building my institut is inside. i had measurements there but also i took 5 minutes to enjoy the sun :D
i can´t finish all measurement so i´ve to do it tomorrow


Nachtrag:
ich hab es wirklich total vergessen und es war völlig unbeabsichtigt. ich hatte am wochenende besuch aus der alten heimat und es war wirklich toll. war ein sehr schönes wochenende mit dem super wetter und einigen stadtbummeln sowie einem richtig lecker abschlußfondue :) danke mandy!!!! und ich freu mich auf´s nächste mal

grüezi, :)
da nicht wirklich viel passiert ist in den letzten beiden tagen schreib ich hier heute einfach nur ein kleines hallo hinein. mühsam nährt sich das eichhörnchen und so auch ich an meiner ersten veröffentlichung. auch wenn ich das alles schon mal aufgeschrieben hab in meiner diplomarbeit so kann ich mich doch nicht richtig motivieren, dass jetzt ins englische zu übersetzen. naja, bis monatsende hab ich noch zeit und die werde ich sicher auch ausnutzen *hehe*

really nothing special happend and so i just send a little hello to everybody. i need a lot of time to write my first paper in english, even if i wrote all the stuff in my diploma thesis half year ago. but i can´t really motivate myself to translate the important parts, and so i think i´ll need the time till end of march *hehe*

Party in Zurich

Tag 58 / Day 58

dann will ich euch mal erzählen, wie mein wochenende bisher so gelaufen ist. eigentlich muß ich ja sagen ging es schon am donnerstag abend los, mit pizza, wein und nem filmchen bei meinem kollegen timo, danke noch mal für die einladung sowie für speis und trank. richtig cool war natürlich, daß unser schweizer hans martin ebenfalls da war und das institutsverhältnis wieder hergestellt wurde ;)
gestern dann (freitag) hab ich mich mit 11 andern deutschen (neuzürchern) abends getroffen um ein paar mehr kontakte zu schließen, als nur die zu den kollegen und mitbewohnern. so ging es wohl einigen der anderen 11 (jochen, axel, christian, oli, michael, silke, eileen, lukas, jochen und heike + freundin) auch :) war wirklich ein sehr netter abend und ist sicher erneut zu gestalten. die kneipe war super, und da ja kein eintritt fällig war und trotzdem wie in ner disco getanzt werden konnte bin ich doch gern noch mal bereit dazu 8,50 CHF für ne große Coke zu bezahlen *hihi*
dann muß ich timo gleich noch mal danken, da ich heute noch mal bei ihm war, er diesmal wirklich lecker gekocht hat und wir uns noch nen film zusammen angesehen haben.
als ich hier ankam hab ich noch meine wäsche aus dem trockenraum geholt und werd morgen einen bügeltag einlegen müssen ;)

i´ll tell you how me weekend was till now.
i´ve to start with thursday evening as my colleague timo invited me to pizza, vine and a movie at his place. was really good that one of our swiss colleagues hans martin also joined.
yesterday (friday) i met 11 other germans who are new in zurich to get in touch not only with your colleagues and roommates. looked like some of the others thought the same. and so it was a really nice evening, that we should repeat, so thanks to jochen, axel, christian, oli, michael, silke, eileen, lukas and heike + friend :) was a great evening in a pub where you could also dince like in disco without paying for entering and so it was ok to pay 8,50 CHF for a big coke *hihi*
and i´ve to say thanks again to timo for inviting me today again. he cooked a very delicious dinner and we had another good movie.
as i arrived here again i took my washed clothes out of drying room and so i´ve to make an ironing day tomorrow ;)
